Philips Ingenia 1.5T Relocation: Another System Prepped for Parts from Mississippi to Maryland

Imaging Service Solutions (ISS) recently completed the de-installation and cross-state relocation of another Philips Ingenia 1.5T MRI system, carefully transported from a facility in Mississippi to our storage and processing site in Maryland. As part of our ongoing efforts to support engineers and imaging centers with reliable, OEM-level replacement parts, this project highlights our commitment not just to the imaging lifecycle—but to the safe, meticulous handling of every component along the way.

The Philips Ingenia 1.5T is a powerful and efficient MRI platform known for its digital broadband architecture and consistent image quality. Even as newer systems enter the market, many hospitals and imaging centers continue to rely on the Ingenia for its dependable performance. That ongoing use drives demand for parts that are often no longer available new—but can be recovered and repurposed through responsible system de-installations like this one.

What sets this project apart is the emphasis on transport integrity. ISS engineers took careful steps to stabilize and protect the system during dismantling. Sensitive components—such as the gradient amplifiers, RF subsystems, patient table electronics, and cold head assemblies—were packaged in custom containers with moisture barriers and shock absorption in mind. MRI parts are precision instruments, and even minor mishandling can result in costly failures or calibration issues.

Once loaded, the components were shipped via dedicated climate-controlled freight to prevent exposure to temperature swings and humidity that could compromise performance. At our Maryland facility, all incoming parts are re-inspected, cleaned, and logged into inventory for future fulfillment. This attention to detail ensures that engineers seeking parts for Philips Ingenia systems can rely on ISS for clean, quality-tested components that are ready to go.

Parts from this recently de-installed Ingenia 1.5T are now available. Whether you're in need of coils, electronics, system boards, or cabling—our team is here to help you keep your system up and running with minimal downtime.
